I am not the only Elenoir in the world.  Many of us know that multiple time lines weave and interweave throughout the universe of dolls.  So while I am not the only Elenoir, I am the only Elenoir in my time line.  Thank you to Aquatalis for creating me, and for sending this particular 'me' to live with Marilyn.  It seems to be working out quite well. 



Let me begin by telling you who I am in this part of the doll universe.  

    As I've said, my name is Elenoir.  I was born in Vietnam, Saigon to be exact, on November 24, 1934.  That means that I have the astrological sign of Sagittarius.  It is said this is the sign of wanderers who are ruled by the planet Jupiter.  I have wandered indeed. And plan to do so for the rest of my life.  My Lunar sign is that of the Green Wood Dog.  This is said to make me sincere and reliable.  Also considerate and understanding.  I hope I exhibit those traits as I wander along my path.  Oh, and one of my lucky colors is purple!  Isn't that lucky? It is my favorite color!

    My parents were not from Vietnam, but were from the South of France.  They moved to Saigon before I was born and thus I am both French and Vietnamese.  Both lands seem like 'home' when I am there.  Currently I live in Eze, France and often travel to Vietnam for work.  And to visit my dear friends there. My best friend, Trinh, is always so kind to invite me to stay at her home. No matter how much time passes, we always pick up our conversations without missing a beat.  

    My creators saw me as a writer, and so I am.  While the discipline needed for the job is a chore, the freedom to do my work anywhere is a delight.  And so I write. I began writing novels while I still lived in Saigon, and as luck would have it, that blossomed into books made into films and writing film scripts!  And that is the career I still persue today.

    I think that is enough for you to know for now.  A little mystery is always good, is it not?

         Hà-Sen, as you know, made a somewhat startling choice when deciding what her maid's uniform would be.  Thank goodness that a visit from my American friend, Trixie and her personal maid was not only enjoyable, but solved the problem.      As you know, The Maid helped me settle in here in Eze, and I became so fond of her.  I have many reasons to be glad that she made this visit with Trixie!      Sen showed her the "uniform" and, as you can well imagine ..... The New Maid or ... It is difficult to get good help these days!

      I've noticed that Fate usually seems to ignore our very  existence until a moment arises when it sees the chance to pass close by and very casually toss a banana peel right in front of our beautiful shoe. And, somehow, it always lands just under our graceful high heel.  This brings me to the story of my new ladies maid.       Dear friend Trixie sent The Maid to Eze before my arrival to put my new house in order.  What a treasure!  She had  everything set up so beautifully for me.  I was amazed that she had managed to place items just where I would have placed them myself.       I knew I would have to let her return to Trixie (or wreck our friendship completely!), but I dreaded the day.  When I had to make a business trip to Vietnam to do some work on the script that my dear friend Trinh was shooting, I knew it was time.  Darling Maid helped me pack and saw me on my way.
